<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication method used in a system having a base station and a fixed or mobile subscriber station. <P>SOLUTION: The base station maintains connection with each subscriber station by allocating resources for data transmission and resources for signaling a radio communication system into each frame. In each frame, there is provided a new exclusive common channel used by the subscriber station for reporting connection quality with the base station. The resource allocated to the common channel is smaller than the total of the resources in the number needed in the same frame because each subscriber individually reports. The base station allocates the resource to the common channel, divides the common channel to a plurality of report chances, and transmits a report request to the subscriber station. The subscriber station responds a foregoing request by randomly selecting one of report chances and transmitting a report concerning the channel quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
