PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal force applying device capable of automatically altering the angle-of-rotation position of a microchip, and a specimen liquid analyzer. SOLUTION: The centrifugal force applying device 2 which constitutes the specimen liquid analyzer 100 includes a rotary stand driving force transmission mechanism 27 for applying rotational driving force to a chip rotary stand 23 and a rotary stand rotating mechanism 25, and a cam 25a, which has upper and lower end cam surfaces having a plurality of inclined surfaces continued along the circumference formed thereto, is pushed up by rectilinearly advancing and moving the pusher 27g of the rotary stand driving force transmission mechanism 27 to push up the transmission part 25c of the rotary stand rotating mechanism 25 to convert the moving force in the upper direction of the cam 25a to rotatory power by sliding the pin 25d for the upper side cam of a second rotary shaft 24 along the inclined surface of the upper end cam surface. Further, the cam 25a is moved in a lower direction by the restoring force of a coil spring 25f and the moving force in the lower direction of the cam 25a is converted to rotatory power by sliding a pin 25e for a downside cam along the inclined surface of the lower end cam surface to rotate the chip rotary stand 23.
