<p>A treadmill comprises a frame (10) having a base suitable to receive a support deck (20) located between a front roller and a rear roller, and an endless belt (30) wound around the front and rear rollers with the support deck (20) arranged between an upper portion and a lower portion of the endless belt (30), as well as a device (40) for detecting the temperature due to the heat generated by the friction between the endless belt (30) and the support deck (20), the device (40) being connected to a control unit that activates signalling means to show the user that a preset temperature threshold has been reached, hi this way, the user knows when it is necessary to lubricate the support deck without having to remember to do it at preset intervals or having to rely on imprecise indirect signals calculated on the basis of the operating time or of the total distance covered.</p> |
