A waste gas treatment apparatus is provided to reduce investment and operation cost by utilizing a synergistic effect of a hybrid system consisting of a UV/photocatalytic reactor and biofilter. A waste gas treatment apparatus comprises an odorous waste gas supplying and analyzing unit, photocatalytic reactor(7), odorous waste gas treating reactor(12), and a biofilter(21). The odorous waste gas supplying and analyzing unit is composed of a blower(2), gas meter(3), and a real-time density analyzer(4). A bypass valve(11) is linked with the photocatalytic reactor to pass or bypass the photocatalytic reactor.
