An input method for an apparatus having the multi language environment is provided to correct the input text on a touch-type display by showing a candidate word list in the interface selected by touching. The input method for an apparatus having the multi language environment is composed of a step(202) for obtaining the input text about the editing document on a touch-type display, a step(204) for determining whether or not the input text includes one or more character, a step(206) for determining the candidate list of the possible correction candidate word if the wrong character is included in the input text or the input text is uncertain, a step(208) for displaying the candidate list on the touch-type display, a step(210) for obtaining the touch input about the selected candidate word, and a step(212) for inserting the selected candidate word in the editing document. |
