A method of constructing a PTZ is provided to make an integrated PTZ operation performed in a camera which does not have a separate zoom control function except for an infrared remote controller function. An integrated wired/wireless controlling apparatus operates in a setting state and an execution state, receives an infra-red signal in the setting state, and then performs the learning according to a zoom command designated from an operating device. An infrared ray originating device has a connector so as to be extended through a cable from a learning remote controller. If the zoom command is provided from the operating device, the integrated wired/wireless controlling apparatus outputs the corresponding infra-red signal in the execution state.
