<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect motion (camera motion) in a photographing direction of a video camera. SOLUTION: At a centroid calculation part 21, a detection range which includes the image of a frame preceding a frame under consideration included in the accumulated images stored in an accumulated image memory 24 is set to detect the motion of a camera for the frame under consideration. Then the centroid of the detection area and the centroid of the frame under consideration are calculated at the part 21. A vector detection part 22 obtains a camera motion vector from those two calculated centroids to show the motion of a camera, when the image of the attentional frame is photographed. At a write control part 23, the image of the frame under consideration is overwritten to the memory 24 according to the camera motion vector.</p> |
