The invention relates to electronic devices for mechanically locking or blocking, for example, safety containers, safe boxes, padlocks, locks for doors or lockers and to electromechanically blocking devices for industrial automation or robotic engineering. The inventive device comprise a body (15) with a movable element (50), a power-operated locking element (60) jointed to the body (15) and used for mechanically locking or blocking, the movable element (50), an electromechanical unit (20) jointed to the body (15) and monitoring the state of the power-operated locking element (60) with the aid of the electronic circuits of a code interface (30) and the electromechanical components of the the unit (20), means (40) which is kinematically coupled to the electromechanical unit (20) for transferring external mechanical action to the elements of the electromechanical unit (20), an electric charge generator which is designed as a part of the electromechanical unit (20) and is kinematically coupled to the means (40), an actuator which is designed as a part of the electromechanical unit (20) and used for kinematically controlling the position of the power-operated locking element (60), wherein blocking and deblocking motions are carried out by means of mechanical power consumed by a user when he manipulates with the means (40) for producing electric power by the generator, which is sufficient for operating the electronic circuits and for triggering the actuator, and, for minimising the electric power consumption, the main displacement of the actuator elements is carried out by means of the drive connection thereof to the means (40) and by the direct use of external mechanical energy applied to the above-mentioned means. The invention makes it possible to save electrical energy when the electronic devices is operated for mechanically locking or blocking due to that the actuator is used only as an element for controlling mechanical force transfer and the elements thereof are displaced by means of external mechanical forces.
