PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify the position and the area of an instructed object without impairing an aperture ratio in a display device having an optical detection function.

SOLUTION: For pixel parts 72 of two lines, a single optical sensor part 150 and a single light amount regulation part 82 are arranged. A selection signal 3a(N) of the pixel part 72 of the N-th line is used as an optical sensor reset signal and a selection signal. A capacity potential 300(N) of the pixel part of the N-th line is used as an optical sensor first power supply. A selection signal 3a(N+1) of the pixel part of the (N+1)-th line is used as an optical sensor selection signal. A capacity potential 300(N+1) of the pixel part of the (N+1)-th line is used as an optical sensor second power supply.
