<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair a TFT failure (for example, short circuiting between a source electrode and a drain electrode), to perform high-speed display, and to suppress power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An active matrix substrate 10 is provided with a transistor, a pixel electrode 17 connected to one of conductive electrodes of the transistor 12, a holding capacitor wiring 18, a lead wiring 7 extended from the one of conductive electrodes of the transistor, and a repair wiring 19 that extends from the holding capacitor wiring.
