<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote stabler flame formation since diffusion fuel may be concentrated on the downstream side of a fuel injection nozzle, and thereby, the diffusion fuel flame may be extinguished exceeding a rich flame extinguishment region when starting a turbine by using the diffusion fuel. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel nozzle assembly 402 comprises a main body 406 including a centerline, a first passage penetrated through the main body 406 along the centerline, and a nozzle tip 500 jointed to the downstream side end of the first passage. The nozzle tip 500 has a radius extended from the center to the outer surface. The nozzle tip 500 includes a downstream face and a plurality of outlet passages each of which includes an opening defined within the downstream face. Each of the openings includes X-, Y- and Z-axes defined with respect to the tangential line, the radius and the centerline. Each of the plurality of outlet passages forms a discharge angle of larger than 30°with respect to the Z-axis in an X-Y plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
