PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor having a heat dissipater. SOLUTION: The image sensor has a substrate and an image sensor chip connected to the substrate. A storage hole is formed on the substrate, and the image sensor chip covers the storage hole. The image sensor has a heat sink which is stored in the storage hole of the substrate and comes into contact with the image sensor chip. The image sensor uses the heat sink, and then can dissipate heat generated when the image sensor chip is irradiated with incident light at suitable time, and the temperature of the image sensor is put back into a range of expected in-use temperature further to prolong the life of the image sensor and enhance the quality of image.
