PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yeast feeding apparatus capable of accurately feeding only a liquid having a yeast concentration not lower than a threshold value. SOLUTION: The yeast feeding apparatus feeds yeast from a tank holding a yeast-containing liquid and includes a pipeline 8 connected to the tank 1 at one end, a viscometer 3 placed in the pipeline 8 and detecting the viscosity of the liquid flowing in the pipeline 8, and a flow channel switching valve connected to the other end of the pipeline 8. The flow channel switching valve is controlled based on the viscosity detected by the viscometer 3. The flow channels to be switched by the valve include a flow channel connected to a tank truck for yeast transportation and a pipeline to discharge a liquid having a yeast concentration lower than a threshold value to an effluent treatment facility.
