PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map generation system, a map generator, and a map generation method, capable of acquiring a map capable of confirming a device movement position, in a specified period. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal device acquires sequentially times in accompaniment to the lapse of time, acquires positional information indicating a position of the mobile terminal device, in every acquisition of the times, stores pieces of time-positional information indicating the acquired time and the positional information acquired in accompaniment to the time, by the number of the acquired times, receives an assignment of the period, and transmits route information including the plurality of pieces of time-positional information, and period information indicating the received period, to the map generator. The map generator generates a data of the map indicating the position of the mobile terminal device with the indicated time indicated by the positional information indicated by one or more pieces of the time-positional information indicating the period indicated by the period information, out of the plurality of pieces of time-positional information included in the received route information.
