PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate the position of a main subject as a focusing position, even if the position of the main subject, which is focused by a focal point adjusting device, is moved on an imaging screen by recomposition. SOLUTION: The imaging device, having an imaging element for photoelectrically converting the image of a subject which is formed by a photographic lens, includes: the focal point adjusting part for allowing the photographic lens to focus on the target subject in a field; a position calculating part for calculating the position of the movement destination of the image of the target subject on the imaging screen; when the position of the image of the target subject moves on the imaging screen of the imaging element, accompanying the direction change of the imaging device between focusing of the photographic lens on the target subject by the focal point adjusting part, and starting actual photographic operation; and a recording part for associating the position of the movement destination of the image of the target subject on the imaging screen, with the image photographed by the photographic operation, and recording them.
