PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vacuum switch housing a contact free to contact and separate in a vacuum insulation vessel formed by casting. SOLUTION: The vacuum switch is provided with a cylindrical vacuum insulation vessel 1 formed of an insulating resin material similar to epoxy resin, a ceramic layer 9 fitted to an inner face of the vacuum insulation vessel 1 by coating and drying, a fixed side sealing metal fitting 2 having a fixed side contact 5 sealed on one-end open face of the vacuum insulation vessel 1 and a fixed side current-carrying axis 4, and a movable side sealing metal fitting 3 having a movable side contact 6 sealed on the other end open face of the vacuum insulation vessel 1, a movable side current-carrying axis 7, and a bellows 8.
