PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample conveying mechanism capable of preventing a sample conveying bar from obstructing since the sample conveying bar sticks out, regarding the sample conveying mechanism. SOLUTION: In the sample conveying mechanism using the sample conveying rod 7 at a part of a conveying mechanism conveying the sample 5 between a sample chamber 1 and a reserve exhaust chamber 3, a rotary unit 10 integrated with the sample conveying rod 7 is arranged on an end of the reserve exhaust chamber 3. The sample conveying rod 7 is formed to be in an optional direction among four up-and-down and right-and-left directions, against the sample-conveying direction by turning the rotary unit 10 at a designated angle at the time excluding exchange of a sample.
