PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing a pressing member from being swollen by a lubricant, by restraining the lubricant from turning in around an inside of a sliding member with leakage of the lubricant from both end part sides of the sliding member. SOLUTION: A width Wd of a downstream in the sliding member 4 is narrower than a width Wu of an upstream in the sliding member 4. Accordingly, an end part 40 of the sliding member 4 is hardly exposed to the lubricant press-spread as shown in a hatching area Z, and the lubricant hardly turns in around the inside of the sliding member 4.
