PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which avoids staining, even after repeated use and achieves stable image formation, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge for an image forming apparatus that uses the same. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by sequentially disposing on a conductive support (31) a photosensitive layer (33), containing titanylphthalocyanine crystals having at least a maximum diffraction peak at 26.2°and also having peaks at 9.3°, 10.5°, 13.2°, 15.1°, 15.6°, 16.1°, 20.7°, 23.2°, 27.1°and 28.3°as diffraction peaks (±0.2°) at the Bragg angle 2θfor a characteristic X-ray of CuKα(wavelength 1.542Å), and a protective layer (34), comprising a resin cured product formed by curing a trifunctional or higher functionality radical polymerizable monomer which does not have a charge-transport structure and a monofunctional radical polymerizable compound having a charge-transport structure.
