PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling extrusion of coke by which an extrusion clogging phenomenon thereof can surely be avoided and control thereof can economically be achieved when the coke in a coke oven is extruded and recovered. SOLUTION: Extrusion resistance from the start of extrusion with an electric motor 12 for driving of an extruder 10 to the completion thereof is always detected and the extrusion torque of the electric motor 12 for driving thereof is increased when the extrusion resistance thereof exceeds the extrusion torque of the electric motor 12 for driving thereof. Thereby, the extrusion clogging phenomenon thereof can surely be avoided and the extrusion control thereof can economically be achieved when the coke is extruded with the extruder 10 and recovered.
