A medical delivery system such as a jet injection system comprises a medical delivery device (22) and a drug container (21) adapted to be mutually coupled along a main axis by a bayonet coupling. Said bayonet coupling comprises at least five joint couples, each couple comprising a lug (24) arranged on one of the container and the device and an associated support member (26) arranged on the other one of the container and the device such that at least two lugs of said at least five joint couples are formed as axially elongated lugs each having an axial length larger than its circumferential width. The specific coupling provided ensures improved handling, mechanical strength and reduced settling time during manufacture.
