METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIQUID SUPPLY TYPE FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply type fuel cell in which cell output of high performance is obtained from beginning of power generation even if using a membrane electrode assembly immediately after formation or the assembly left unused for a long time.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a liquid supply type fuel cell which uses a membrane electrode assembly consisting of an anode and a cathode arranged at least on both sides of a polymer electrolyte membrane is characterized by including a treatment step which passes current to the anode from the cathode of the membrane electrode assembly while supplying hydrogen content gas to the anode of the membrane electrode composite.
