<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a ceramic sintered compact which is suitable for the production of a boat by effectively utilizing machining scraps caused in the production process of the boat. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the ceramic sintered compact, by which raw material powder containing TiB<SB>2</SB>(titanium diboride), BN (boron nitride), AlN (aluminum nitride), Sr (strontium) compound, Fe (iron) or Fe compound and O (oxygen) is molded, and then is sintered by a hot press under a non-oxidizing atmosphere, the pulverized matter of a ceramic sintered compact is used as a part of the raw material powder. The pulverized matter of the ceramic sintered compact has a composition comprising TiB<SB>2</SB>of 40 to 60 mass%, BN of 30 of 55 mass%, AlN of 0.3 to 2.0 mass%, Sr compound of 0.3 to 3.0 mass%, Fe or an Fe compound of 0.5 to 8.0 mass% and O of 1.0 to 4.0 mass%, and in which the total of these components is ≥95 mass% (including 100%). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
