<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generating device capable of being mounted on a desired position by easy work with good appearance, though it has a function for changing the mist spraying direction by driving force of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: This mist generating device MG comprises a mist spraying mechanism A capable of spraying mist by guiding the liquid supplied to a receiving port 30a to a mist nozzle 31, and the motor M for rotating the mist spraying mechanism A around a prescribed central shaft C1 to change the direction of the mist nozzle 31, and they are mounted on a cover case 1. The cover case 1 is supported relatively rotatably to brackets 2A, 2B, and relative rotation of a driving shaft 70 of the motor M and the brackets 2A, 2B is inhibited.
