摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a burden of arithmetic processing in a microprocessor by reducing computational complexity in computing tire acting force from strain of a sidewall portion. <P>SOLUTION: At least four pairs of strain sensors are mounted on the same circumferential line at regular intervals, wherein the pairs are constituted by a plurality of the first strain sensors in which gain maximum lines incline to one side of a tire circumferential direction at an angle of 45°to a tire radial line, and a plurality of the second strain sensors in which the gain maximum lines incline to the other side of the tire circumferential direction at an angle of 45°. A detecting method of the tire acting force includes a strain measuring step and an acting force calculating step, wherein the strain measuring step obtains strain outputs for every strain sensor by measuring the strain of the sidewall portion simultaneously from each of the strain sensors at a rotating position P of a tire where a tire rotation reference position X is considered as a reference, while the acting force calculating step computes the tire acting force based on the strain outputs of every strain sensor measured by the strain measuring step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
