PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a battery mounted on a cassette having a radiation detector, and to improve the portability of the cassette by miniaturizing the battery and reducing the weight of the battery. SOLUTION: The mobile X-ray equipment 12 captures the radiation image of a patient 18 in a sickroom. The mobile X-ray equipment 12 transmits radiation image information to a server via a transmission/receiving terminal 28 and an in-hospital mobile communication network when detects that the radiation image is stored in a cassette 24 mounted on a cradle 26. Accordingly, it is not necessary to load a radio communication function in the cassette 24, and the power consumption of the cassette 24 can be significantly reduced. As a result, the battery of the cassette can be miniaturized, and the weight can be reduced, and therefore, the portability of the cassette 24 can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
