The separator has a pressure-resistant enclosure housing (8) provided for maximally allowed operating pressure of a compressor i.e. screw-type compressor. A drum (1) has a coarse separator (2), a post separator (3) and a fine separator (4) provided in a gas-side flow path, in three separating stages. The coarse and post separators are formed by a front section (24) of the drum. The drum has a pressure disk (5), a cover plate (6) and a disk stack. Two channels (22, 23) are formed on the inner side of the front section, in an axial direction.
