<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate the position and inclination of the relative rotation axis of a subject by using only a projection image obtained from the radiography of the subject without using a special three-dimensional phantom, and to finally reconstruct a high-quality tomographic image. <P>SOLUTION: The projection image is obtained by a two-dimensional X-ray sensor 104 disposed facing an X-ray generation circuit 101 with the subject in-between while relatively rotating the subject 103 in the radiation radiated from the X-ray generating circuit 101. Tomographic images are reconstructed by a first reconstruction circuit 114 for all the parameters related to a plurality of positions of the rotation axis by using one of the parameter values related to the plurality of positions of the rotation axis based on the obtained projection image, so that a plurality of tomographic images for one slicing position are obtained. One of the parameters related to the plurality of positions of the rotation axis is selected by a rotation axis position determining circuit 115 based on the obtained tomographic images. The tomographic images of the subject are reconstructed based on the obtained projection image by a second reconstruction circuit 116 using the selected parameter to obtain final tomographic images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
