<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation controller reduced in cost via simple data processing means, and assuring satisfactory results through highly accurate management of stress on plants. <P>SOLUTION: The plant cultivation controller includes a plant nature detection means 2 detecting the condition of the leaves of growing plants, a withering degree calculation means 3b calculating the withering degree of the leaves based on the detected information by the plant nature detection means 2, and controlling means 3 operating a nutrient solution supply means 5 when the withering degree calculated by the withering degree calculation means 3b reaches a nutrient solution supply reference value independently set to supply a prescribed nutrient solution to the growing plants: wherein the controlling means 3 operates and controls the plant nature detection means 2 and the withering degree calculation means 3b in prescribed sampling intervals, and changes the subsequent sampling interval shorter when the calculated withering degree reaches a prescribed range up to the nutrient solution supply reference value to operate and control the plant nature detection means 2 and the withering degree calculation means 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
