<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress MAI (Multiple Access Interference) caused when using non-ideal FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) for a decoder of an optical code communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In the decoder, a part of an optical frequency chip to be reflected is transmitted when performing decoding by using reflection and transmission due to FBG to separate an optical frequency chip of a present code and other chips and adding/subtracting reflection signal strength resulting from photo-detecting the optical frequency chip of reflection and a transmission signal strength resulting from photo-detecting the optical frequency chip of transmission. The transmission signal strength is multiplied by a coefficient corresponding to a ratio of a transmission strength for the optical frequency chip to be reflected, and addition/subtraction is then performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
