<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform for molding a plastic bottle whose resin weight is 21.0 g or below and whose volume is 600 ml. <P>SOLUTION: The preform for molding the plastic bottle has a bung part, a support ring, and a bottom part which blocks a barrel part and the end of the barrel part. The resin weight of the preform is 21.0 g or below. Its total length is made below 92.5 mm, and its barrel diameter is made below 24.0 mm. A thin-walled part under the support ring which is 5-10 mm in length and composed of a minimum wall thickness part is formed under the support ring. The wall thickness of the barrel part is made larger than that of the thin-walled part under the support ring, and the wall thickness of the bottom part is decreased gradually toward a gate part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
