PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store a nozzle using a liquid for storage. SOLUTION: A nozzle storage device stores the nozzle for discharging a discharge liquid downward from a discharge port. The nozzle storage device is provided with a projecting member, a supply pipe, a storage mechanism and a cleaning liquid supply means. The projecting member is arranged at a position where the upper surface on which a supply port is provided faces the discharge port of the nozzle. A supply source for supplying the cleaning liquid communicates with the supply port through the supply pipe. The storage mechanism is connected to the supply pipe and can store the cleaning liquid above the upper surface of the projecting member. The cleaning liquid supply means supplies the cleaning liquid from the supply source in such a manner that the cleaning liquid is collected on the upper surface of the projecting member and is stored in the storage mechanism.
