PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a double-clutch operation by a driver in performing a rotation synchronous control during speed-change of a MT vehicle. SOLUTION: When a disconnection of the clutch is detected by a clutch pedal switch, a target engine rotational speed required for running at a target gear position after a shift by a shift operation of a manual transmission is computed, the engine revolution is feedback controlled to the target engine rotational speed (rotation synchronous control). When clutch engagement is detected by the clutch pedal switch, a predetermined delay time period is set, and a rotation synchronous control is continued while limiting an engine output power increase during a delay time period. A load to a synchronizing system can be reduced in case where a gear change operation is performed in a clutch-engaged status, while inhibiting a transmission shock even during a double-clutch operation.
