PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an identification section of a resin molded article with which a hardly reproducible identification section can be simply formed, and to provide a method for manufacturing a resin molded article having the identification section, and a resin molded article formed with the identification section. SOLUTION: A fracture surface 13 having irregular fine unevenness is formed on a substrate (fractured substrate) 11 by applying a tensile load to the substrate to be fractured. The fractured substrate 11 is set to an outer mold (molding mold) 15 for molding a resin molding 2 so that the fracture surface 13 is exposed inside the molding mold 15, and then charging a resin material in the outer mold 15 to mold the resin material. At the same time, the shape of the fracture surface 13 is transferred on the resin molding 2 to be molded.
