PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a wireless communication device which increases the probability of communication data errors and deteriorates the communication quality under the influence of an electric-discharge lamp fading, i.e. a wireless transmission line variation that contains abrupt change in amplitude or phase of a received signal due to on/off of the discharge lamp when the wireless communication device is used in a room where the discharge lamp is installed. SOLUTION: The wireless communication device includes transmission line variation duration detection part 101 for detecting a duration in which variation in the wireless transmission line due to the discharge lamp increases, a transmission control part 102 for setting the transmission signal conditions based on the detected transmission line variation duration, a transmission part 103 for generating and outputting the transmission signals based on the conditions, and an antenna 104 for transmitting the transmission signals. The above configuration allows the wireless communication device in the invention to stop transmission of the radio signals or send out the radio signals resistant to errors due to the change in the transmission line environment during the transmission line variation duration.
