PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device and program for displaying candidates of a communication partner and a function in accordance with the situation of a user. SOLUTION: A terminal device 100 include functions of: storing, partner information used for communicating with other terminal device; generating status information indicating a status of the own terminal device; and storing history information which associates the partner information specifying the other terminal device, the status information and a function currently used. In response to an instruction to automatically select a function, based on matching between the current status indicated by the status information and a past status indicated by the history information, candidates of the partner and candidates of the function are determined and displayed.
