PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket vending machine 11 in which the number of selection buttons 21 can be increased and signboards 22 can be laid out at desired positions. SOLUTION: A selection button arrangement area 16 in a housing 13 can be expanded so that an upper end is higher than a conventional upper end to occupy a space in which a conventional signboard is arranged while the right, left and lower ends of the selection button arrangement area 16 are kept as they are. Signboards 22 are arranged in the selection button arrangement area 16 of the housing 13 instead of selection buttons 21. Since the space for arranging signboards 22 in the housing 13 is used as the selection button arrangement area 16, the number of selection buttons 21 can be increased and the signboards 22 can be laid out at desired positions.
