PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely position a cooling fan 4 at a prescribed position of a device casing 1 with simple structure. SOLUTION: This support mechanism is provided with the device casing 1 with a bottom face plate 1a, a circular hole 8 formed in the bottom face plate 1a, a support section 5 supporting the cooling fan 4 in a non-contact state relative to the device casing 1, a positioning pin 7 fixed in the support section 5 while having a section freely passing through the circular hole 8, and a circular cone section 7b formed in the upper section of the positioning pin 7. The maximum diameter Dmax of the circular cone section 7b is larger than the diameter d of the circular hole 8, and the minimum diameter Dmin of the circular cone section 7b is smaller than the diameter d of the circular hole 8. As a result, this circular cone section 7b is caught in the circular hole 8 when the device casing 1 is lifted up, and the center line of the circular cone section 7b is made to pass through the center of the circular hole 8, and thus, the support section 5 is positioned precisely relative to the device casing 1. The device casing is lifted down from this condition, and then, the device can be used with the cooling fan 4 retaining the precise position in the device casing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
