PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out recording of a bidirectional multi-scanning system with density irregularities caused by a difference in recording time interval by scanning solved in an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: A unit region completed in recording by a plurality of the number of scanning is divided to 8 in a scan direction. A maximum value of an ink placement amount is set for each of the divisions. The largest value is set to the division 8. The ink placement amount is set to be a smaller value in a direction of the division 1. In other words, since the density decreases from the left towards the right because of a recording time difference in the scan direction of the unit region, the ink placement amount is increased from the left towards the right. That is, for the whole of the unit region with the 8 divisions combined, the amount of ink placed finally on a recording medium can be increased as a tendency from the left towards the right.
