摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously display image data of a preliminary imaging mode and an actual imaging mode. SOLUTION: An image data generating section 8 generates 2D data in a reference scanning cross-section of the preliminary imaging mode, when collecting volume data relative to a wide range 3D scanning area applying a heartbeat synchronization method to a plurality of 3D sub-areas set to a subject. A sub-area set section 11 divides a 3D scanning area in a direction perpendicular to the reference scanning cross-section and sets the plurality of sub-areas in the actual imaging mode aiming to collect the volume data, a scanning control section 12 preferentially carries out the 3D scanning to the 3D sub-area including the reference scanning cross-section. Further, the 2D image data of the preliminary imaging mode collected in the reference scanning cross-section and the MPR image data of the actual imaging mode are continuously shown by generating the MPR image data of the reference scanning cross-section from the subvolume data obtained as above.
