PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a training method and apparatus for obtaining the silhouette of beautiful legs without putting unneeded burdens on the other parts of the body. SOLUTION: In the state of lying on the back horizontally to a floor surface, the exercise of stepping on the pedals of the training apparatus arranged at a position higher than the waist is performed. Also, the training apparatus is provided with a back surface part arranged in parallel with a floor, where an upper body can be laid down on its back, and the pedals arranged at the position higher than the back surface part for making it possible to perform the exercise imitating the action of pedaling a bicycle with feet.
