PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine and a game system where a user can install a monitor at a position easy for the player to see without being conscious of an adjacent player. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a display means (such as a reel display window 28) which displays a game result by the combination of symbols stop-displayed on a display part which displays a plurality of symbols, a casing having an area where the display means can be viewed, and a holding means (such as a monitor holding tool 250) which is provided on the side of the game surface of the casing and detachably holds a portable image display (such as a monitor 200) including an image display part (such as a liquid crystal panel 230) which displays an image.
