P53 ISOFORM GENE TRANSGENIC NON-HUMAN ANIMAL

There is provided a transgenic non-human animal, wherein the transgenic non- human animal genome comprises at least one stably integrated reporter gene operably linked to regulatory elements of a p53 isoform gene, wherein the p53 isoform gene is capable of modulating the activity of p53. In particular, the transgenic non-human animal is a transgenic fish and the p53 isoform gene is ?113p53 gene and the regulatory elements are the ?113p53 gene's regulatory elements. There are also provided uses of the transgenic non-human animal according to the invention.
