A method for mounting ground electrode of spark plug capable of increasing durability of bending part of ground electrode is provided to simplify a mounting process of a ground electrode by bending the ground electrode once. A ground electrode tip(32) is welded in an end of a ground electrode(30) of a linear type by a laser welding. The ground electrode is made of nickel. One side of the ground electrode is welded in one side of a housing(10) by a spot welding. The other side of the ground electrode is bent toward an inner direction of the housing. A gap between the ground electrode tip and a center electrode tip(22) are controlled. The center electrode tip is fixed in an end of a center electrode(20). One end of the center electrode is connected to an ignition coil. The other end of the center electrode is protruded outside the housing. |
