A drum type washing machine is provided to prevent a precise component in a cabinet from being destroyed as a foreign material including the washing water within drum or laundry is not flowed in the cabinet inside. A drum type washing machine comprises a cabinet; a cabinet cover, having a door(9) formed in center, mounted on the front side of cabinet; a water tank(30) arranged in the cabinet inside; a drum(20) arranged in the water tank in order to rotate itself; and a gasket(50) positioned between the water tank and cabinet to prevent a foreign material within the drum from being flowed to the cabinet inside. |
