The bed has two parallel arms (19) and a retractable lateral barrier element (17) extended along a side of a lower bed frame (13). Each arm is attached to the frame by a telescopic mechanism (21). The mechanism has inner and outer elements (22, 23) that are fixed to the frame and one of the arms. A connection secures the elements with one another to vary a transversal position of the barrier element during pivoting vertical displacement of the barrier element. The connection has a groove (26), and a pin (25) that is integrated to the element (22). |
