SPACER GRID WITH TUBULAR DIMPLE FOR THE DEBRIS FILTERING

A spacer grid having dimple of cylindrical shape capable of reducing pressure drop of cooling water is provided to prevent damage of a nuclear fuel rod by filtering foreign material through a filtering unit and a dimple. A spacer grid comprises a horizontal strip(110), a vertical strip(120), a dimple(200), and a foreign material filtering unit(300). The horizontal strip and the vertical strip are crossed in order to form a grid space. A plurality of slots is formed in a horizontal and vertical strap into a fixed interval. A cut-out part is formed in both sides of each slot. The dimple has a cylindrical shape, and is inserted in the cut-out parts around an intersection of the horizontal and vertical strips. The foreign material filtering unit is inserted in the cut-out parts around an intersection of the horizontal and vertical strips, and has a shape of a cross having four arches.
