PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow-molded article having excellent mechanical properties, heat-resistance, impact resistance, gas-barrierness and transparency and provide a method for the production of the article. SOLUTION: The blow-molded article of a resin composition is composed of a resin composition produced by compounding a polylactic acid resin and a polyacetal resin in a mutually dissolved state. The hollow-molded article composed of the resin composition contains the L-isomer in an amount of≥92% and≤99% or the D-isomer in an amount of≥92% and≤99% based on the total lactic acid in the polylactic acid resin.
