PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude the possibility of plugging in an opening of an explosion- proof valve, when internal pressure comes to a prescribed value or more to actuate the valve, and surely release the pressure. SOLUTION: Explosion-proof valves 16 and leads 13 are arranged in a position which is not to be overlapped each other with respect to a seal plate 6 in vertical-direction view, in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery wherein positive electrodes 1 and negative electrodes 2 are arranged being layered inside an outer container 7 via separators 3, the leads 13 extended from the positive or negative electrodes 1, or 2 are joined to a pole 8 arranged in the seal plate 6 of the container 7, and wherein the valve 16 is provided in the seal plate 6. |
