<p>The safety system (S1) for a shaping machine, e.g. a pneumatic press (P1), has an extension (7.1) at the press drive plunger (1) at a carrier body (7). The ram (4) has a swing coupling (8) more or less in the direction of the extension according to the stroke. If the plunger is blocked at the final movement stretch, the action radius (r0) of the coupling is insufficient and the plunger passes it by without a driving force. Without a blockage, the coupling action radius is large enough to transmit the driving force from the plunger to the ram to move through the final stretch.</p> |
